Terms

Last updated: July 2026.

Product draft

This document is a product draft prepared for beta and is subject to legal review and change before public commercial launch.

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using the SessionShot API, dashboard, or website (together, the "Service"), you agree to these terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you can bind that organization.

2. Beta

The Service is provided as a beta. Features may change, be limited, or be withdrawn; allowances and limits may be adjusted; and availability is not guaranteed. Do not use the beta for workloads where interruption would cause serious harm, and do not submit regulated data unless your organization has explicitly approved that use.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials, for activity under your account and workspace, and for keeping your contact email current. Authentication is handled by our infrastructure providers; we never see or store your password.

4. API keys

API keys are secrets. You are responsible for storing them server-side, for all requests made with them, and for revoking and rotating any key that may have been exposed. We store only hashed keys and cannot recover a lost secret.

5. Acceptable use

You agree to capture only pages you are authorized to access:

  • your own applications and accounts,
  • third-party applications where your access and your capture use are permitted by the account owner and applicable terms,
  • targets covered by allowed domains you configured deliberately.

6. Prohibited use

  • capturing accounts or systems you are not authorized to access;
  • circumventing another service's security or terms;
  • harvesting personal data without a lawful basis;
  • illegal content, malware distribution, or abuse of the worker infrastructure;
  • probing, scanning, or disrupting the Service itself, except responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities.

7. Your content and capture targets

You retain your rights in the pages you capture and the results the Service produces for you. You grant us the limited rights needed to operate the Service — processing your requests, storing results privately, and serving them back to you through signed URLs. We do not sell your capture content.

8. Availability and support

We aim to keep the Service available and to communicate about disruptions, but during beta the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without uptime commitments or SLAs.

9. Limitations of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SessionShot is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits, or business arising from beta use. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the preceding three months (which, during the free beta, may be zero).

10. Plans and pricing

Billing is not live during beta. Published plans and prices are indicative and subject to change until commercial launch. When billing launches, renewals, refunds, and cancellation will follow the refund policy and cancellation policy.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, security risk, or legal requirement — with notice where practicable. You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time; capture results may be deleted after account closure.

12. Changes

We may update these terms as the product evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date; continued use after changes means acceptance.

13. Contact

Questions about these terms can be raised through the contact channel provided with your private-beta invitation.
